Certified Central Sterile Processing Technician

The Certified Central Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the reprocessing of all sterile and non-sterile materials, instruments, and equipment for surgery and other hospital units. The role involves manual cleaning, decontamination, operating mechanical washers and sonic units, and testing autoclaves for efficiency. Additionally, the technician assists in the recall process and supports the education and training of other staff regarding quality assurance and departmental compliance.
