Certified Interpreter (Hourly Pool)

Long Beach Community College District is seeking qualified Certified Interpreters to provide sign language interpretation and translation services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students, faculty, and staff across classroom and college-sanctioned activities. The role requires fluency in ASL and other signing modalities, along with a strong understanding of specialized subject matter terminology to facilitate clear communication and successful inclusion. Incumbents work under general supervision to support both student needs through DSPS and faculty/staff needs through HR.
