About this role
The Lactation Consultant provides expert breastfeeding care and education to mothers and families across the neonate, infant, adolescent, and adult populations. The role functions independently within a multidisciplinary team, serving as a clinical preceptor, consultant, and mentor while adhering to institutional standards and quality initiatives. The consultant also manages lactation center operations including pump rental and inventory.
