About this role

A Certified Nursing Assistant provides basic direct nursing care to non-acute and acutely ill patients in Acute Care or Long Term Care settings. The role involves essential tasks such as lifting, positioning, monitoring vital signs, maintaining a safe environment, and answering patient call lights under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse. Candidates must maintain compassion while working in a rapid-paced environment to support patient needs and family interactions.

Responsibilities

Provide basic nursing care including bathing, feeding, and toileting assistance
Monitor and record vital signs and distinguish abnormal patient findings
Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and transportation between departments
Maintain a safe and clean environment while managing linens and supplies
Report changes in patient condition to licensed nurses and document findings
