Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides individual and group therapy to improve physical, cognitive, and daily living skills for patients across the lifespan in inpatient and outpatient settings. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the COTA educates patients and families, participates in care meetings, and assists with discharge planning while supervising students and support staff.
