Certified Operator Trainee

The Certified Operator Trainee program at Sperry Rail Service trains individuals to become certified professional operators in rail flaw detection using non‑destructive testing methods. Trainees attend classroom instruction at the Sperby School of Rail Flaw Detection and then gain extensive field experience traveling across the eastern or western United States. Upon certification, they may operate testing platforms and eventually lead crews, with clear career progression within the company.
