About this role
The Certified Surgical First Assist functions as an expanded CST first assistant to the surgeon, performing patient positioning, prepping, draping, hemostasis, wound exposure, and suture/tissue handling under surgeon supervision. The role provides technical perioperative services across the operating room, Endoscopy Suite, and Sterile Processing and may act as a surgical technologist when not first assisting.

Qualifications
- Graduate of Approved Discipline Specific Program

- CST or TS-C Certification

- LIC-Registered Surgical Assist-Tennessee
