The Charge Nurse is a clinical leader on the unit who supports nursing management and serves as a primary resource for staff. This role represents the professional nurse in unit-level initiatives, supports nursing department goals such as Magnet certification, and helps maintain patient care standards during assigned shifts. The Charge Nurse also acts as a liaison between staff, leadership, and other healthcare team members.
