East Harlem Tutorial Program (EHTP) is a community-based nonprofit serving more than 1,500 students per year in East Harlem through both tuition-free Pre-K–12 charter schools (East Harlem Scholars Academies) and a range of out-of-school-time programs including after-school, summer, and college-readiness initiatives. EHTP helps students build academic skills, strength of character, and emotional well-being, with College Scholars graduating from four-year colleges at eight times the national average for students from low-income households. The organization is committed to culturally responsive education and wraparound community support, partnering with families and local groups to advance equity in East Harlem.
