The INN
The Chef Academy Apprentice role offers a unique opportunity to kick-start a culinary career through hands-on learning and real-world experience in a professional kitchen environment. Participants will gain a nationally recognised Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship while learning from industry experts and taking part in chef-led masterclasses. The position is designed to build skills and confidence, providing a supportive journey of growth and development within The Inn Collection Group.
The INN is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization based in Hempstead, NY, that has been serving hungry and homeless Long Islanders with dignity, respect, and love since 1983. The organization provides a broad variety of essential services including a soup kitchen, emergency shelters, transitional housing, and supportive services to those challenged by hunger, homelessness, and profound poverty. The INN partners with community members in need to help them achieve self-sufficiency through donations, volunteers, and programs like the Center for Transformative Change (CTC).
