The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) at The Wharton School will shape the vision, direction, and culture for all Wharton fundraising and engagement programs, leading a 90+ person External Affairs division. As a member of Wharton’s senior leadership team, the CAO advises and partners with the dean on fundraising priorities, cultivates high-level donors, and leads strategic planning and organizational development. The role also coordinates with central Development and Alumni Relations leaders to strengthen university-wide philanthropic efforts.
