About this role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) leads SPLC’s finance, accounting, compliance, and facilities functions, partnering with the COO and General Counsel to set and execute financial and risk-management strategies that support the Center’s strategic plan. The CFO serves as Treasurer to the Board and works closely with board committees and senior leaders on budgeting, fundraising, and oversight of a $100M operating budget. The role ensures legal and regulatory compliance, manages audits and tax filings, and builds internal relationships to align resources for impact.
