Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer serves as the strategic financial voice at the Oakland Zoo, leading the Finance and IT teams to ensure sound financial stewardship and support the organization's conservation mission. This role involves managing accounting, financial planning, treasury, and risk management while acting as the primary staff partner to the CEO and Board of Trustees. The position requires overseeing public funding stewardship, including Measure Y, and driving long-term financial sustainability for the $34 million nonprofit.
