Chief Officer

The role involves maintaining a safe navigational watch, leading the deck department in emergency response situations, and acting as the Ship Security Officer. Administrative duties include maintaining the hull, fittings, and crew accommodations, managing deck stores, and overseeing environmental protection measures. The position also requires promoting safe working practices, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with international regulations for lifesaving and firefighting equipment.
