About this role

The Chief Operating Officer is the primary operational leader for Democracy Prep’s ten schools in New York City, responsible for ensuring all operational functions are executed to support high-quality student learning. The role partners with school leaders and cross-functional teams to set strategy, manage network-level operations, and build scalable systems. The COO oversees facilities, enrollment, compliance, finance-related operations, vendor relationships, and family engagement while leading and developing the operations team to drive excellence across the network.
