Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer at Fermilab reports directly to the Lab Director and is accountable for achieving the Laboratory's short- and long-range goals by overseeing Facilities and Engineering Services, Human Resources, Finance, Information Systems, and Strategic Partnerships. This role involves driving performance improvement, managing operational budgets, and ensuring compliance with DOE directives and environmental, health, and safety regulations. The COO also builds relationships with senior management, DOE site offices, and key project stakeholders to support the Lab's business and operational plans.
