About this role

The Child Life Specialist provides psychosocial and developmental support to pediatric patients and children of adult patients across inpatient and outpatient settings at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. The role involves assessing developmental and emotional needs and promoting coping, understanding, and resilience for patients and families through education, therapeutic play, and non-pharmacological strategies. The specialist is an interdisciplinary team member who also contributes to programmatic activities, student/volunteer supervision, and patient-centered initiatives.
