Child Life Specialist

This position is accountable for the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans to provide for the psychosocial, behavioral, recreational, and educational needs of hospitalized and/or outpatient children. The role involves collaborating with the medical team to support patients and families through illness education, procedure preparation, and therapeutic play activities. Child Life Specialists cover various hospital areas to meet the developmental needs of patients based on their age.
