Child Welfare Specialist

The Child Welfare Specialist oversees the well-being of children and families assigned to Lutheran Child and Family Services, monitoring progress towards reunification and facilitating home visits. This role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to implement targeted services, such as counseling and case management, while ensuring compliance with child welfare regulations and maintaining accurate records. The specialist also provides crisis intervention, advocates for clients' needs, and maintains therapeutic alliances with children, birth parents, and foster families.
