Child & Youth Care Practitioner

The Child & Youth Care Practitioner provides care and programming for children and youth in the care of the Minister or Mi’kmaw Family & Children’s Services, focusing on those with moderate to severe emotional and trauma-based responses. This role involves supporting youth through psycho-educational programming, recreational activities, and crisis intervention while collaborating with external professionals to ensure a safe and supportive environment. The position is part of a relief roster used to fill multiple opportunities over the coming months within the Provincial Child and Youth Caring programs.
