View Profile

Greenpeace is an independent global environmental organization that campaigns to protect oceans, forests, climate and biodiversity through research, public advocacy and non‑violent direct action. Operating as a network of national and regional offices, it investigates and exposes harmful corporate and government practices, mobilizes grassroots support, and pushes for policy and industry change toward renewable energy and conservation. The group is funded primarily by individual supporters and independent foundations rather than corporate or government money, enabling independent campaigning. Its work combines science, legal action, media outreach and creative protests under the rallying slogan “Together we can change the world.”
