CIN Reviewing Officer

The CIN Reviewing Officer provides independent scrutiny and oversight for Child in Need plans under Section 17 of the Children Act 1989. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Safeguarding, the role involves chairing review meetings, monitoring case progression, and challenging drift or delay to maintain high practice standards. The position requires a qualified social worker with significant post-qualifying experience in Family Support and Child Protection safeguarding.
