CIRT Tier 2 Analyst / Active Secret

Peraton is seeking an experienced CIRT Tier 2 Analyst to support its Federal Strategic Cyber Mission by detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity events within a 24x7x365 environment. The role involves performing advanced forensic analysis, malware characterization, and monitoring Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms while collaborating with Department of State teams and reporting to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This position requires protecting against cyber threats through log analysis, network traffic characterization, and the creation of actionable Indicators of Compromise.
