About this role
The Citizenship Class Volunteer supports refugees and immigrant community members in Los Angeles by providing civics and U.S. history instruction to help prepare students for the United States Citizenship Exam. This is an unpaid, short-term volunteer opportunity beginning March 2025 for 4–6 months with flexible evening and Saturday morning hours. Volunteers work in-person at various LA Public Library branches and coordinate with the IRC-LA Adult Education Program.
