The internship offers civil engineering students hands‑on experience in land development, stormwater management, and utility design, working alongside licensed professional engineers on public and private projects in Southwest Virginia. Interns will support design drafting, grading and earthwork analysis, regulatory research, field investigations, and preparation of engineering reports and proposals.
