About this role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the analysis, design, and rehabilitation of hydroelectric structures, including dams, spillways, and powerhouses. The role involves multidisciplinary coordination, producing detailed engineering deliverables, and supervising junior staff on projects across Canada and internationally. Candidates will utilize expertise in heavy civil engineering to support clients in decision-making and clarify technical needs.

Responsibilities

Design and rehabilitate hydroelectric structures and related civil works
Lead multidisciplinary design meetings and coordinate engineering teams
Produce detailed engineering reports, drawings, and technical specifications
Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff on construction projects
Verify design calculations and oversee work during the construction phase
