Classified Tutor (Hourly)

The Classified Tutor provides academic assistance and guidance to students for a minimum of two hours a day, two days a week, working closely with teachers under the direct supervision of the principal. This role involves serving as a role model and mentor while evaluating student materials and becoming familiar with library and textbook resources. The position requires conducting tutorial sessions in mathematics and mini-lessons on writing, study skills, and college preparation. Tutors are expected to communicate frequently with coordinators and teachers regarding student progress and areas of concern.
