Classroom Teacher

The Classroom Teacher at Shawnee Public Schools reports to the Principal and is responsible for facilitating student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district-approved curriculum, assessing student progress, and maintaining a safe, flexible learning environment. The role includes communicating with students, parents, and administration about progress and expectations while adhering to applicable laws and district policies.
