About this role
The Climate Change Coordinator supports the Town of Whitby’s Sustainability and Climate Change program by assisting with implementation of mitigation and adaptation initiatives to help the Town achieve net zero by 2045. The role reports to the Project Manager, Sustainability and Climate Change and works with internal and external stakeholders to advance the Town’s climate and resilience objectives. The position contributes to community engagement, reporting, and program delivery within the municipal sustainability function.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Environmental Science or related field
