About this role

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Assay Specialist & Technical Supervisor to provide technical and scientific oversight for high-complexity CLIA laboratory testing. The role involves supervising testing personnel, leading assay transfers and validations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards like CAP and CLIA. Candidates will also support Companion Diagnostic development, troubleshoot operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and scientific oversight for CLIA laboratory testing
Supervise testing personnel including training and competency assessments
Lead assay transfers, verifications, and validation activities
Establish and monitor quality control processes for accurate results
Coordinate proficiency testing programs and support regulatory inspections
