Clinical Chemistry Fellowship

The Clinical Chemistry Fellowship is an accredited one-year or two-year program designed to prepare fellows for careers as medical directors of clinical chemistry laboratories or in industry leadership roles. The position involves clinical duties under the direction of the program director, including rotations within the Clinical Chemistry Division, didactic lectures, journal clubs, and rounds. Fellows are responsible for evaluating and generating reports for tests requiring interpretation and serving as liaisons between clinical teams and the laboratory. The role also encourages the pursuit of research projects suitable for peer-reviewed publication.
