The Clinical Diabetes Educator provides Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in an outpatient diabetes and endocrinology clinic. The role works within a multidisciplinary team to support patient care, participates in educational classes and community outreach, and maintains relevant credentialing and continuing education.
