Clinical Documentation Specialist

This role ensures the overall quality and completeness of medical records for all payor groups and DRGs, facilitating modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians and nursing staff. The position supports timely, accurate, and complete documentation of clinical information used for measuring and reporting physician and hospital outcomes. It involves educating the patient care team and maintaining regular electronic contact with personnel throughout and outside the hospital.
