About this role

The Clinical Lab Scientist will perform routine and complex technical procedures on clinical specimens, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure quality control in accordance with standard operating procedures. The role includes reviewing and releasing results in the Laboratory Information System, participating in continuing education, and may involve assay development and specialized coordination tasks. Work hours are Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm at Labcorp's South San Francisco facility.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex technical laboratory procedures
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
Review and release test results in the Laboratory Information System

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical TechnologyCalifornia state issued Clinical Lab Science license (CLS) - Generalist
