About this role

Labcorp seeks a Technologist Trainee to join the Toxicology team in Burlington, NC, performing routine and complex technical procedures under supervision. The role involves determining specimen acceptability, troubleshooting instrumentation, preparing new reagents, and reporting accurate test results to support quality patient care. Trainees receive full training and work a Sunday-through-Thursday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Determine acceptability of specimens for testing
Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
Prepare and evaluate new reagents or controls
Perform preventative maintenance and quality control
Report accurate and timely test results
