Clinical Laboratory

This position reports to the Laboratory Operations Manager and the Director of Laboratory Services to ensure timely performance of testing for clients and patients. The role involves resolving complex serological problems, coordinating with blood bank supervisors and physicians to provide safe blood products, and maintaining rare donor inventories. The incumbent is responsible for procuring and maintaining rare red blood cells and antisera, participating in on-call rotations, and supervising competency and proficiency testing. Additionally, the role includes instructing technologists and residents while maintaining all patient and donor testing records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
