Clinical Lead - Palliative Care

The Clinical Lead - Palliative Care role supports the National Clinical Programme for Palliative Care in delivering strategic priorities, including the implementation of the 2025/26 Implementation Plan and the development of the 2027/28 Implementation Plan. The position involves collaborating with the Programme Team, HSE, Department of Health, Irish College of GPs, and wider healthcare stakeholders to develop and implement high-quality, safe, equitable, and integrated palliative care models, pathways, and service improvements. The role focuses on advancing primary palliative care principles, designing service models for specific populations, and promoting synergistic working across healthcare sectors.
