The Professional Nurse / Clinical Nurse provides individualized, holistic, and person-centered nursing care, assessing, planning and implementing treatment for patients, families and the community. The role coordinates patient care within a multidisciplinary health team and applies evidence-based nursing theories and processes. The incumbent also supports clinical governance through quality, risk management and participation in policy and education activities.
