About this role

Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Clinical Pharmacy Technician provides advanced clinical and operational support for Specialty Care Pharmacy patients receiving high-cost, high-risk medications. This role serves as a specialty pharmacy subject matter expert, coordinating medication access, financial assistance, payer navigation, and care continuity for patients with complex and chronic disease states. The position involves collaborating with pharmacists, providers, and payers to optimize therapy management and ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate prior authorizations and payer communications to facilitate medication access
Assess patients for manufacturer copay assistance and financial support resources
Conduct benefit investigations and insurance eligibility verification for specialty medications

Qualifications
