This role is responsible for providing customer service to patients by scheduling appointments, performing check-in and check-out procedures, verifying insurance benefits, obtaining authorizations, and providing telephone triage. The position serves as an insurance resource for clinic staff, manages patient appointments according to physician schedules, and handles all incoming phone calls and transfers. The role also involves assisting with the collection of copays, existing balances, and financial counseling as needed.
