About this role

Parsons is seeking a Cloud Routing Software Developer to design, build, and support secure network infrastructure protecting sensitive communications across distributed environments. This hands-on role involves architecting encrypted overlay networks, managing cryptographic key lifecycles, and troubleshooting complex packet-level issues for a classified customer pilot deployment. The developer will evolve a prototype system into a production-ready product while working with a high-autonomy team on matters of national security.

Responsibilities

Architect and operate encrypted overlay networks across distributed infrastructure
Implement and manage cryptographic key lifecycles including rotation and revocation
Provision and harden Linux-based systems while automating deployments
Diagnose complex network failures using packet captures and protocol analysis
Build internal tooling and control-plane APIs for infrastructure orchestration
