About this role

Torch Technologies is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to serve as the principal contractor technical advisor for the Joint Staff J7 Joint Technology & Simulation Division. This role focuses on driving the migration of simulation, training, and modeling federations into Microsoft Azure under the Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability contract. The position supports enterprise cloud infrastructure and architectural blueprints for cloud-based services.

Responsibilities

Architect and oversee enterprise cloud infrastructure within Azure Government aligned with DoD standards
Direct the formulation of Infrastructure as Code standards utilizing Terraform and Azure Bicep
Establish architectural blueprints for migrating on-premises simulation software into cloud services
