Archer
Archer is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers, interpreting engineering drawings and CAD/CAM models to produce efficient machining strategies. The role involves performing machine setups, optimizing tooling and speeds/feeds, and maintaining records while ensuring a clean work environment. This position requires quality experience in CNC machining, problem-solving at the machine and program level, and the ability to take ownership from program handoff through finished part.
Archer designs and develops electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft — electric air taxis — for use in urban air mobility networks. The company’s mission is to “unlock the skies,” enabling people to reimagine how they move and spend time by bringing on-demand, low‑emission aerial transit to cities. Archer’s team is based in Santa Clara, California and is focused on advancing aircraft design, testing, and commercialization.
