Kernal Biologics is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join its Synthetic Biology team for a full-time, in-person Co-op position in Boston. This hands-on, bench-based role involves supporting the design, production, and in vitro testing of mRNA therapeutics while working with mammalian cell lines and cutting-edge synthetic biology technologies. The selected candidate will execute experiments, document results, and contribute to decision-making data as an integral member of the team.

Responsibilities

Maintain human and murine cell lines using sterile technique
Transfect IVT and LNP-formulated mRNAs into mammalian cells
Support DNA template design and internal mRNA production
