About this role
An Ambulatory Surgery Medical Coder at the University of Southern California is responsible for ensuring outpatient and ambulatory surgery encounters are accurately documented in institutional coding and abstracting systems in accordance with federal coding regulations. The role supports integrity of coded data for billing and regulatory reporting within the Health Information Management department.
