Coding and Compliance Supervisor

This role oversees the day-to-day activities of the coding staff, providing direct supervision, performance reviews, and coaching to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. The position is responsible for approving time, coordinating leave requests, and assisting divisions with charge capture, compliance, and billing practices. It involves reviewing medical records to select comprehensive diagnoses and procedures, meeting with physicians to resolve documentation issues, and processing appeals requests. The role also supports revenue cycle improvement initiatives and maintains positive working relationships with staff, clinicians, and internal and external customers.
