Coding Educator

The Coding Educator performs coding review for surgical specialties to accurately reflect services rendered, utilizing industry standard methodologies and adhering to ethical coding standards. The role involves auditing medical record documentation, educating providers on documentation improvements, and mentoring new team members to ensure department standards and accuracy. This position also manages coding inventory, addresses payer denials, and provides world-class customer service.
