Coding Specialist

This role is responsible for conducting quality reviews of inpatient and outpatient coding to ensure compliance with federal regulations and maintain up-to-date coding guidelines. The position involves reviewing medical records, assigning diagnostic and procedural codes using ICD-10 and CPT systems, and resolving coding-related issues to support accurate and timely billing. The specialist also verifies charge entry and physician notes for completeness while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
