Collections Coordinator

The Collections Coordinator supports the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo's Corporate Services Department by managing the collection of delinquent receivables for utilities, ambulance services, and general trade. This role involves contacting non-paying clients, coordinating payment schedules, initiating utility disconnections or service restorations, and recommending debt write-offs while navigating municipal bylaws and policies. The position requires coordinating with various departments, responding to public complaints, and utilizing specific computer systems to maintain accurate collection files.
