About this role
The Collections Intern at SFMOMA supports a focused 9-week project to centralize documentation for promised gifts of art, enhancing access and understanding of donor histories and the museum’s collection. Working closely with the Head of Collections and multiple departments, the intern helps consolidate, organize, and standardize records related to promised gifts. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to collections stewardship, information systems, and governance in a major museum setting. The internship includes structured educational programming, mentorship, and cross-departmental learning opportunities within SFMOMA.
